Problem Description

Two years after handover, the 32-story residential building developed leakage at multiple floor joints. Water flowed from upper levels to lower ceilings through expansion joints, affecting the normal living conditions of more than 100 households. Several repair attempts by the property management team had failed.

Solution

A systematic inspection and grouting waterproofing program was carried out for the entire building. YIXIUWORLD Yellow Bag Freeze-Dried Acrylate was selected as a standard formulation with good cost performance and stable reliability.

Construction Steps

1. Drill from the interior ceiling to locate the leakage source

2. Clean debris and standing water from the joint area

3. Install packers at the leakage locations

4. Carry out layer-by-layer injection using the Yellow Bag material

5. Remove equipment and complete surface finishing

Result

All 80 joint treatment points were completed successfully. After monitoring through the rainy season, leakage complaints dropped to zero. Maintenance costs decreased significantly and resident satisfaction improved clearly.
