Problem Description

The second basement level developed multiple leakage points during the rainy season, mainly concentrated in construction joints and concrete wall cracks. Traditional cement-based grouting had produced unsatisfactory results, and leakage kept recurring, affecting the normal use of the parking area and equipment room.

Solution

YIXIUWORLD Black Bag Freeze-Dried Acrylate was applied for crack injection treatment. Using a two-component grouting pump, the material was injected into the leakage cracks, where it cured into an elastic gel and effectively sealed the water pathways.

Construction Steps

1. Clean the crack surface and identify injection points

2. Install packers and seal the crack surface

3. Prepare Component A and Component B solutions with 20 kg tap water each

4. Inject with a two-component grouting pump at a 1:1 ratio

5. Clean up and finish the surface after injection

Result

48 hours after grouting, all leakage points were sealed and the basement wall surface remained dry. After one full rainy season, no further leakage was observed. The client was highly satisfied with the performance.
