Problem Description

The municipal tank, with a capacity of 5,000 cubic meters, developed multiple cracks and leakage points after 15 years of operation. Water loss began to affect supply efficiency, creating an urgent need for a fast and effective repair solution.

Solution

YIXIUWORLD Liquid Acrylate Resin in bucket packaging was selected for rapid repair. As a ready-to-use material, it required no on-site mixing and could be directly poured or injected into cracks, greatly reducing construction time without disrupting water supply scheduling.

Construction Steps

1. Drain the tank and clean the crack area

2. Remove loose concrete and contamination

3. Inject the liquid resin directly into the cracks

4. Use pressure grouting for wider cracks if necessary

5. Conduct a water retention test after curing

Result

The repair was completed in only 3 days, compared with more than 2 weeks for traditional methods. The water retention test passed in one attempt with no recurrence of leakage. The solution was highly recognized by the local water authority and used as a demonstration project.
